NM-1GE Cisco 1-Port Gig Ethernet Network Module

The Cisco 1-Port Gig Ethernet Network Module is part of the Cisco family which provides the broadest line of solutions for transporting data, voice and video while ensuring that networks both public and private operate with maximum performance, security, and flexibility. The NM-1GE is supported by the Cisco 2691, Cisco 3660, Cisco 3725, and Cisco 3745 series routers and provides Gigabit Ethernet optical and copper connectivity for access routers. This module will allow branch offices to inexpensively use high-speed uplinks in different environments and customers to enable new applications and services along with providing greater capacity for existing inter-VLAN routing and bridging capabilities. Special features include flow control, VLAN support, ISL support, Weighted Random Early Detection (WRED) and Access Control List (ACL) support.
