The Juniper QFX10008 modular data center spine and core Ethernet switch provides cloud and data center operators with a smooth transition from 10-Gigabit Ethernet and 40-Gigabit networks to 100-Gigabit Ethernet high-performance networks. This high-performance, 13 rack unit (13 U) modular chassis can provide 48 Tbps of throughput and 16 Bpps of forwarding capacity. The QFX10008 has eight slots for line cards that can support a maximum of one-thousand, one-hundred fifty-two 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports, two-hundred eight-eight 40-Gigabit Ethernet ports, or two-hundred forty 100-Gigabit Ethernet ports.
