The Cisco UCS 6248UP 1 RU Fabric Interconnect provides both network connectivity and management capabilities for the Cisco Unified Computing System. Cisco provides latency minimizing, lossless 10 GigE unified network fabric capabilities, which increases the efficiency of Ethernet networks. Some features of the Cisco UCS 6248UP include, a one-rack-unit (1 RU) 10 Gigabit Ethernet and FCoE switch offering up to 960-Gbps throughput.
